Loosely translated from Malay to English as ‘rice salad,’ Nasi Ulam features a number of fresh local herbs and flowers which are not widely available in stores today. As a result, this traditional Peranakan dish is no longer common in the market place and not many people are aware of it.
At The Farmers, our Nasi Ulam is made from vegetables harvested from our garden and foraged locally. Our recipe, handed down through generations, is packed with flavour and nutrition.
Made fresh every Wednesdays and Thursdays, come sate your appetite and rediscover this forgotten dish!
